Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio, is an American actress. She is famous for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively in ABC's Lost television show. Originally from Worthington Ohio she quit high school and moved to Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. Although she was struggling financially, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's main character. Her portrayal in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford, the character she played in Lost from 2004 to 2005 was selected for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was keen to pursue film following her role as Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. Grace has been in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The role was reprised for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice In Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost in the series, which included the conclusion. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season that aired from 2013 until 2014. She portrays Faith who's both the star-gazer and a socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began in the teen years with minor parts in a few of her father's films and appeared together with her brother in famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was released in 2002 as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal won critical praise in both of her roles as the lead of Secretary (2002) which is an erotic romance drama drama and Sherrybaby (2006). She was also nominated for her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. In 2009, she was recognized for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Oscar Awards for her performance of a single mom as she appeared in Crazy Heart.
