Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was just five years old, she moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled in an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. When she was six years old, Emma was aware she would like to be an actress. For many years she trained at the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theatre school in which she was taught singing dancing and acting.
